Recently returned back home to Santa Fe after a successful National Tour, the Juan Siddi Flamenco Theatre Company will once again bring their passion, majesty and timeless beauty to the spotlight and heat up the stage with their mesmerizing performances at the Lodge at Santa Fe, (750 North St. Francis Drive, Santa Fe, NM).
Performances take place six nights weekly, Tuesdays trough Sundays at 8:00 pm from July 2 through September 1, 2013 in a romantic and intimate cabaret theatre setting. Honored recipient of Santa Fe’s 2011 Mayor’s Awards for Excellence in the Arts, Artistic Director Juan Siddi and his Flamenco Theatre Company today in its sixth year have made their mark with their unique, world-class artistry. The company has made appearances throughout the Middle East, Europe and the United States with raving reviews from the international press.
Joined by a cast of some of Spain’s most authentic singers of today, among an array of sensual and beautiful dancers interpreting choreographies to traditional and original musical scores created by the internationally renowned cast of musicians besides of the traditional Guitar also including Cello, Violin and Piano.
Siddi will present a mixed repertory theatre program. A significant signature piece of his work is the stunning, “Nataraj – Lord of the Dance” that will take you on a mystical journey and reflect its roots from as far as Rajastan, India, among other master pieces of the company such “Pasion Flamenca” or “Sabor Havana” with its influences from Cuba.
