Trey Jordan Architecture is a firm committed to buildings of integrity; architecture that responds to and draws from its context. Whether sited in a dense historic district or on a rural property, we create homes that reflect the time of their construction while referencing the history of their site and surroundings.
Both renovation and new construction projects are approached through a lens of preserving or responding to the historic fabric of existing architecture or landscape. Our design approach in and around Santa Fe is influenced by, and abstractly references, the historic vernacular of Northern New Mexico. Our buildings embody characteristics of strength, simplicity, and stillness.
Trey Jordan has been designing buildings in Santa Fe since 1990 and established TJA in 1994. We are a small studio, with a team approach focused specifically on residential projects, both single-family homes and multi-unit compounds.
Truly accommodating architecture is the result of careful thought on all levels and every component of a house is an opportunity to reinforce the overall intent of the design. Working closely with clients, our team brings multiple disciplines and backgrounds to the process so that the design is developed with rigor and attention to detailing, always working within the design concept.
In addition to winning a City of Santa Fe historic preservation award, Trey Jordan Architecture has been featured in several national publications including the New York Times, Metropolitan Home, The Santa Fean, and Western Interiors among others.
